Headlamps restored for the MOT
Failed its MOT on headlamp output: the lenses had gone yellow and cloudy. Sanded, polished and sealed, and it passed the free retest the same afternoon.

The car failed its MOT because the headlamp beam was too weak: twelve years of sun had turned the plastic lenses yellow and cloudy. New headlamps would have cost over £400.
We wet-sanded both lenses through four grades, polished them clear and sealed them with a UV-resistant coat, then reset the aim. It passed the free retest the same afternoon.
