Servicing

Interim, full and major services

A service is the cheapest way to keep a car out of the workshop. We change the oil and filters to the maker’s specification, then put the car on the lift and go over it the way an MOT tester would: brakes, suspension, steering, tyres, exhaust and every light.

You get a report with photos of anything that’s worn and what it would cost to put right. Nothing is done without your yes.

What we check and do

  • Engine oil and filter to the maker's specification
  • Air, cabin and fuel filters on the full and major services
  • Brakes, suspension, steering and exhaust checked on the lift
  • Photos of anything worn, with a price to put it right
  • Service book stamped and the service light reset

Typical jobs

  • A yearly full service on a family hatchback
  • A major service at 60,000 miles
  • A service before a long summer drive

Questions

Will it keep my new car's warranty?

Yes. We follow the maker's schedule with parts of matching quality and stamp the service book.

How do I know which service I need?

Tell us the mileage and when the car was last serviced, or just the registration, and we'll tell you.
